Won 10,000 Dollar Lottery!

OMG I AM OSOOOOO ****IGN EXCITED HOLY ****.. I THINK I JUST AVOIDED BEIGN STRUCK BY LIGHTING I just won a 10,000 dollar lottery thing. I actually found the ticket outside of a local gas station. then assumed u turn it in there. and it says I win 10,000 dollars..

Im buying new parts for my s13 coupe.. here is what I have so far planned out.. feel free to help me add/edit..

+10,000 - Lottery WOOT-2,500 - SR20DET-100 or so - HKS Blow of Valvue?-1,000 - Koniig MP3's w/ Falken's-1.750 - Tein Suspension System-250 - Cusco Strut Bars-250 - Cusco Camber Kits=5,850 left.

now.. I need to know what else to get that would GREATLY increase power/performance.. kinda stuck on what brands and waht prices. if you coudl this will be a joint porject car for you guys to help put in your advice. and if i like what you say il get it hehe. but yeah, this is so exciting I look forward to hearing from you guys.. Im gonna go wait to get my money. gonna sit by the phone for like days....

Give me your 240 pay your taxes and buy a Z. There's no sense spending money on labor, shipping, and upgrades when you can just buy a faster car. Or throw in a small block chevy with matching transmission. Unlimited power, simple, no silly electronics to deal with. I'm sick of these SR engines. Whoopty frickn doo! 2.0L + $5K gets you 300HP. $3K including engine and transmission gets you that and more with minor mods. Just my 2 cents.

And I'm equally tired of someone trying to drown out someone else's idea of what they want.

Not everyone wants some old neanderthal carbed V8 so they can tell their friends their car runs 9s with 52 cents worth of mods for the sake of losing handling.

Pay the taxes, take whats left and cut it in half. Take half of it and roll it into an IRA at 3% or invest it. While the best thing to do seemingly is to spend it all on your car, you will ultimately be losing out in the long run as Smith mentioned.

Then again, you could always invest the money into a 401k as well.

Didn't even think of that. Definately invest, I think? Well if Bush won't be reelected, invest it. I never said you couldn't mod the suspension.

Now is a good time to invest, alot of markets are showing signs or rebound and theres an ever growing Bio-Tech sector that requires a ton of money so they are looking to give investors larger returns.

Actually, no, I'm with you. Clinton didn't do a damn thing for the economy. In fact, during his presidency, a lot of the good market was fabricated and fake (blue chip stocks). It's all luck in most cases with the economy and the president, but Bush's admin has had a more direct effect on the economy.

come on man, konigs dont belong on a list with an sr, tein and cusco, if your planning on dropping 5g's at once you should look into works, volks, advans or ssr's. cusco camber kits? the teins should come with camber plates for the front so you will just need some rucas.

lottery tax is about $4k on 10k, So even if he spends a $1000k, he has $5k left at 3% annual rate he would make $150 a year. Life is short $5000 is nothing at the economy we are in right now, spend it how ever you want just be wise about it.

yea, well considering you still get 6k for nothing. when the lotto was 290million 145million was estimated tax. So whenever you win the lotto, take away half, thats what you really win. Unless its something uner $2500k i dont think the IRS need to know about that

yeah i got contacted today yeah liek 33% or somwhere around that goes to taxes... the herm I talked to said that i should recieve well over 6k and maybe a little less than 7k. so im thinking 6.5k, I am awaiting a check in the mail. allready turned in the ticket, sorry but i dont have a camera.. thats on my to buy list when i get the money lol. what are soem good camera's/ camcorders?. Im buying KYB AGX w/ Tein Stech's.. or does a nice set of 200$ coilover's go good with the AGX's?, then im gonna renew alot of stuff in the coupe. Groundwires, dual electric fans.. if they fit, Fluidyne Radiator, Turbo Kit for the KA.. sorry but I dont want to go SR20 yet, better Injector's, new Clutch, Short Shifter, Cat0Back Turbo exaughst, with all that im looking at a fairly good amount shy of 4,500?then il have another 2,000 which im either gonna save.. or buy a set of Advan AVS's

You need to spend some time reading and learning before you dump that money on your car because the stuff you're talking about buying is not the best "bang for your buck", or at least not the best for the kind of money you have to spend. There is no such thing as a $200 coilover, at least not a real coilover. Do some research, and talk to Alan, he'll steer you in the right direction for sure.
