I've sent Wolverine company an email with pics requesting that they fix them or replace them. What do you think their response will be?

That does seem to be an issue.

Wow that is s*** quality. How old they are? It looks pretty damn new. Anyways I think it is a replacement. Anything else would be a BBB call from me.

Have had them several years. But, have other boots that I've had for much longer and none had the soles disintegrate like that.

Wolverine responded with a return form that allowed me to specify my top 3 replacement models (don't make the 1158 anymore) one of which they will send if they determine that my boots were defective.
I have 3 other pairs of Wolverines and have no issues with any of them. They fit me much better than my Timberlands.
soooo, we will have to wait & see what they say.

Will check out redwings next time I get to a store that carries them.

Just got an email from Wolverine saying they placed an order for a new pair and I should be receiving them in 5 to 7 business days. Don't know which model they are sending since they don't make mine anymore. I did get to list 3 models on the form that I preferred.
Anyway, good news!

^^^THANKS!!! Have been needing a new pair of hunting/fishing/snow boots. I have a GREAT pair of Wolverines!!!, but I've finally out grown them. Handing them down to JR since they are still in great shape, just a half size too small.
I have been looking at Wolverines, but am very disappointed in how they all fit my feet.
My new work boots up above feel great!!! But, all of the new hunting boots felt crappy.

So, we went to the RedWing store and I fell for a pair of Irish Setter Gunflint model.

So, thanks SOUL!!!!! :dblthumb:
