I love it when a company boldly proclaims it's heritage to entice buyers. German-American technology! Wow! I bet Germans make the best car wax available!

Okay, enough sarcasm - Germans might actually make some of the best car-care products - I'm a huuuge Zymol fan. For interiors (leather) I use Lexol's two-step products. Like you said, Wolfgang's stuff seems nice, isn't too pricey to be worth a try, and they have nice tutorials on cleaning and care procedures.

I like to go to autopia.org - it's a forum dedicated to detailing talk, and they also review products there as well. Not sure if they've used Wolfgang stuff, but you ought to look and see.

With that said - I think there is a point where car care products reach a level of diminishing returns. I mean, I'm sure there's some super high quality waxes and polishes that merit their cost, but I'm also not so sure that you can go wrong with many of the products you find on the shelves of your local auto parts store.

LOL...yeah, I thought the "German - American" thing was funny too. I'm mostly interested in their synthetic clay bar and clay bar lube. I've had great results with the Mother's Clay Bar Kit, but I wouldn't mind trying the Wolfgang stuff.

Yeah, I've tried some of Mother's products and really liked them. "Back to Black" was the only thing that kept by B13 from looking as old as it was.

I've only tried Meguiar's clay bar, with great results, and will probably continue using that in the foreseeable future.

I'd be interested in trying their (Wolfgang's) leather care when I run out of Lexol, though.

Well if I do decide try any of their stuff, I'll let you know what I think of it.

Yeah, please do!

I think it would be neat if we had an on-going car-care product review series where folks tried out various products and shared their thoughts. I'm always up to buy a new wax or cleaner of some sort - if you can't tell, I'm OCD with cleaning.

I love Zymol products, this is what I use on my Versa; http://zymol.com/shop/item.asp?PID=1516&scID=25 It's a bit expensive, but worth every penny. The shine it gives is absolutely brilliant.
