Thinking about getting a fuel rail flush....car has 101k and with premium over $2.50 seems like a wise expenditure.

Not to mention the increase in the driveability! You may spend more on gas the first week

And I'm mad as hell at $2.10

I've had mixed results with the rail flushes. Seems to make a good improvement in the few weeks following the flush, but then my mileage usually kind of drops back to where it was. Hard to know when exactly the switch to and from RFG takes place each year. I keep detailed records of the numbers--miles driven, gas consumed, maintenance performed, parts replaced, etc.

I did a study a while back. Based on $2.50 gasoline, a 2mpg improvement over 30k was enough to pay for the rail flush and new O2 sensors, with quite a bit left over!
