i have a 1990 nissan 240sx, planning on doing an SR swap. i really don't need the powersteering, but im afraid it might affect the performance when drifting. anyone knows anyone who is drifting without powersteering? how is it? besides, its really hard to look for a beat up 1991-94 240sx for the powersteering lines.

from what I have heard, many swear by it(not using ps), but it seems like it would suck to me. Why not try it for awhile, then add it on if you change your mind? or are you talking about an actual manual steering rack? Personally I think that would be badass.

I dont use power steering. Grows hair on your chest. Plus when you get big wheels a -4 camber in the front, you develop these wierd muscles around ur wrist you never new you had.

to my knowledge there are no manual racks readily available for the s chassis. i dont have power steering either, pump went out, had to drive from cali to ms, and didnt feel like listening to the whine, so my friend and i gutted the p/s pump on my ka. sucks in a parking lot, not a problem on the road, been on a few spirited canyon runs and it gave me no problem then either
