I finally peiced out my turbo kit. tell me wut u guys think

KA24DE 178k miles with 175-178psi compression

t3/t4 .60trim/downpipe, rev hard manifold/wastegate, 370cc SR injectors, oil feed/return line = $900

Boostdesign IC kit = $550

Autometer boost, oil pressure gauge, gauge pod = $140

Greddy Type S BOV w/ flange = $160

SAFC II on ebay for about $255

walbro 255lph fuel pump = $100

All together including shipping cost about $2300. I know I said i had 2g to start spend but of course no one sticks to their budget. And obviously it will never end, i plan to keep working and hopefully be up there. I'll update u guys on how i do. wish me luck guys and let me know if im missing anything

Looks good to me. Good deal on the turbo, mani, and injectors!

How much boost are you planning on? When is the install?

sounds good, I can't believe those compression numbers, 175 to 178, my 196k motor has 155 across the board, good luck with the whole deal, Make sure your fuel is tuned correctly so you don't destroy that engine.

Hope everything goes well, but expect the worst. I would start with the hard part first which is taking the oil pan off and drilling it and getting the oil fitment welded. After that is done, everything else should be alright.

lol, nope, not yet. had a few problems after the a/c removal and have a vacuum leak that isn't letting me boost to my previous pressue. I will find my boost leak this weekend with my homemade leak tester and then after that I will be heading to the dyno within the next month. I will for sure make a thread about the dyno testing.
