Me and my beautiful bride are going out of town this Wednesday to prepare for our wedding this coming Saturday. We are getting married barefooted on the SC beach with all of our family and friends present. Were we will have steel drums and an outdoor reception at a beachfront house for our wedding party. Then we are honeymooning in the beautiful North Carolina mountains in a private two person cabin for a week. I'll let everyone know how it goes after we get back...wish us luck!

I think we all know how it's going to go. Boom-chaka-boom-boom!Congrats on your nupuals. My band played a wedding in Edenton this past weekend, very cool. Where in SC? We vacation in Pawley's Island every year, great place.

Have a wonderful wedding and honeymoon! Don't let them trash the vert.

Thanks guys! We are having the wedding on Tilghman Beach...it's between N. Myrtle Beach and Cherry Grove. No need to worry about the vert...it's staying home. Since we are leaving straight from the beach to the mountains we need a lot of room to haul all our luggage so I'm taking my Expedition. I wish we could take the vert to the mountains...driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway with the top down taking in all the Fall foliage would be breath taking.

Congrats!!! I just checked weather this Saturday, and it says few showers in Myrtle Beach. I hope it won't rain during the wedding.

Keep the vert no matter what. No lame excuses like... baby's on the way. Need a family car...etc. I hope she's okay with your project, mod, purchase...etc if you know what I mean.

CONGRATS!!!

Our wedding is in November and we're taking the vert to NC. Couldn't pass up the fun we'd have on the Blue Ridge Parkway with the top down (freezing our butts off)... But it will still be fun!!!

It's just the two of you, surely you could fit your luggage in a back seat and a trunk...?

But anyways, have fun and be safe!!

We are going to Valle Crucis, NC...it's just south of Boone.

Wow DeX...that was a long trip in the vert...way to go! If I had the interior finished (Dynamat and carpet installed, new sound system w/ sat radio and need to fix the pass. quarter window guides) I would really push to take the vert, but we are planning on taking it this Nov. to The Biltmore House in Asheville, NC so we will be taking it to the mountains.

She love's the car too much and will never want me to get rid of it. She is very encouraging on my project...plus it gets me out of her hair for a few hours a week. As for "...baby's on the way. Need a family car...", I have a 05 Expedition and she has a 98 Altima so we have family/baby friendly cars already so that will never be an issue.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. I'll let you all know how it goes.
