1991 240sx Hatchback ( Originally 5 spd )RB25DET S1 ( could have possibly been automatic motorset; transmission and motor came apart ) RB20DET Transmission

Got a question, I took apart my engine harness, im re-doing everything, Wiring specialists did it, they left pins ---

32 out which is - engine warning lamp

38 - TPS opening signal [ whats weird about this one, is that it comes out as a red wire with yellow stripe, and then goes to one of those brass nissan crimps, which then it spreads into a purple wire, and two red with yellow stripes - The Tps sensor i have has two 3 pin plugs on it, one goes directly into the TPS, and one goes out to a 1 or 2 inch subharness. Im starting to think the motor set i had was automatic because of that plug, and all of the automatic pins were in the ECU, which i de-pinned.

21(RX) Receive (C/U)22(TX) Transmit ( Data to C/U)47(CHK) Check ( Diagnosis )

I was also wondering what wire out of 47 or 32 do i need to wire up to check codes?

And which of these for the factory Consult port.

can't speak for certain on the 25s, but the 26s have 2 plugs on the TPS, one oval 3 wire plug for the actual TPS voltage, and one 3 wire rectangular plug (only 2 wires are used) with that staple thing, and that is for the throttle switch. throttle switch basically is just (closed) continuity when throttle is closed and open when throttle is open. the throttle switch plug is pretty short (1-2 inches like you say) and it kinda merges into the fuel injector plug harness portion. as far as i've tested it doesn't really do anything, maybe affects the idle a tiny bit.

hope that helps some?

Sounds exactly how mine is on the oval plug. The damn thing isnt even wired in. I've disconnected in previous times and not a damn thing happens.
