I just bought an E-01 and E-Manage off my buddy for $650. Nice deal and I couldn't pass it up. Anyway, my main problem is with the E-manage. If you have one or done work on one you'll know what I mean. I wired all five solid color wires in the main harness up so it has power. Now there is five more muti colored wires that I have no idea where they go. I keep reading over the manual and I can't figure it out.

Also my buddy had all this hooked up to a Civic Si, so its all set up to his settings. Is there anyway to reset the whole thing and set it up to mine? Also my car use to start up. Now it starts and dies.

You need to set the jumpers on the inside of the emange for a nissan and hotwire. Check the yahoo emange group. Or check the emange book.

Thanks, I just noticed that. The jumpers are probably set for his Civic. What about the five multi colored wires? Whats the Yahoo E-Manage Group and how do I do that?

The harness will be wired diffrent for your car. check the online manuals for the wireing for your motor RB20/RB25.

I have both the online manual and the booklet supplied with the e-manage. It doesn't say where to splice the wires unless I'm blind as a bat. They have two diagrams for the timing and injector harness which is sold seperately.

I have those already. I have the RB25. It's funny because the manual tells you where the power, ground, RPM, Air Flow go to. These wires are solid colors. The other five however are multicolored and its doesn't tell you at all where they go.

If you have those wires hooked up then thats all the wires for the main unit. Extra wires might belong for other cars with diffrent sensors or they are for the Ingniton harness and injector harness.

N-6 for the RB25. The diffrence with the 20 and 25 ecu plug is the location of injector 6 and 4 and the VVT thing on the RB25 that the 20 dosen't have.

So I talked with my buddy and I read the manual over and over again. The way the system works is with the air-flow adjustment volume which uses both the green and white solid colored wires. Now the other five multi-colored wires are the injector harness which is sold seperatly, but included in the deal. All I need to do is get four more wires to add to the injector harness and I then can control the main injectors. Pretty nice I think. Now I think the reason why my car dies when I plug the E-Manage in is because I don't have the fuel maps set. I guess I have to wait until I get it tuned before I can play with it unless someone can help me out with setting up the E-Manage to run "stock like" until I get it tuned.

It should still run even at zero. It's just a piggy back you only add or take away fuel and timming. If it were a fullstand alone and u hade to make the maps that would happen. Double check the wiring you did for the MAF. Make sure you set the right airflow meter in the support tool and injector size, TPS calibration and all that fun stuff. Its a good piggy back if you set it up right.

I figured it would run wired up. I didn't know I have to put in all that other stuff until I was ready to tune. I'll do that when I get back from Pheonix. Everyone thanks for your help and I'm sure I'll be back on to figure out where the injector wires go to.
