I bought a ca18det and I need to wire it or have it wired, are there any sites with FAQ's for the ca18det engine, or does anyone offer wiring harness service for this motor?need to know asap, I searched several times and nothing came up, not having much luck on yahoo or google either. Thanks.

hmm so if wiring is the same as SR then I could send the harness to anyone that can do the SR? I'm no stranger to electonics and rewiring things but my friend swapped sr20 and had loads of electrical problems and I'd like to skip all that. Did you guys wire yours yourself? If so, what did you think? If its just splicing some wires, switching some pins, I think I'm more than up to the task, but I'm just worried I'll get in over my head.

Man its easy if you stick to directions and take your time, about having to repin some wires..I never did this 'cause instead I did wire by wire. SCC sr20 guys repin them to be more clean I guess but its all basic wiring.

yeah. the wiring is really easy. quite straight forward. but don't forget to wire up your knock sensor. it isn't mentioned in the swap guide and your car will run like a complete piece if you don't wire it. good luck
