No my friend I am sorry to say that the SOHC/DOHC use two different signals so they are not compatible. You will have to get a DOHC Cluster. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure this was covered a long time ago so there may be a way for you to wire it up but it is probably more time consuming than you would like! I do know that the signal comes from your ECU and we both know that the SOHC ECU is Totally different from the DOHC ECU.

Well all KA clusters redline at 6500rpms. Mine actually goes to 7000rpms becasue I had Jim Wolf install cams and tune my ECU which eliminated the ignition retard at throttle dip in and the fuel cut at 115mph. He also pushed my redline from 6500 to 7000 because the cams don't really start doing thier thing until 3800. I feel bad though for you guys, I mean it's bad enough they put a KA in the 240 but to be cruel and unusual they started with SOHC. Hell even a Hachiroku came with DOHC, ok so they came with SOHC but that was 85' you get my point.
