he made a serious mess out of a friend's ca18 harness.

no connections were soldered, wire were missing.

and my favorit part, he just took the knock sensor wire out of the harness.

i dont know if he didnt know what it was or what, but it was gone.

no sheilded wire on the mafs wiring.

used random colors and chunks of wire.

wrapped everything in some wierd goo.

sadly, something like that. I gues he got fed up with a few bad apples. Its a tradgity really. That man was one gifted and generous guy.

*But Racebread still exists! Thanks to the people who make that possible.

I could tell he was starting to get somewhat bitter over the past year especially. I have no idea what the background was for the mood change, but he used to be very active in the NICO and racebread online communities. Now he's available, but doesn't seem to have the same patience as he did with the newer guys as he used to.

he got out of the scene due to stupidity that ensued from the popularity of the swap, basicaly the same stuff we look down upon but they tried to force themselves and their cars on him...basicaly instead of spending money on parts to make for a proper install they wanted to buy wheels and body kits and were mad when the cars didnt run right.

Not nice, just not nice. We always solder and shrink wrap and i am yet to see a cleaner wiring harness from somebody else. So, please do not drop somebody else's garbage on our lawn.

Judging from the details on the wires and crimp connectors and the fact that a sensor wiring was removed, it can't be our work.We have a test jig for different harnesses and it would have not passed the test before shipping. As always, you can dial us up 24/7 and you talk to somebody who will help you get wiring issues resolved. However, this support is only available for work that has been done at our shop (for obvious reasons).

With the number of harnesses we turn over for shops and individual installs, it would be impossible for us to be accurate without testing the harnesses before they go out.

In any case, if you are missing a plug or need some suggestions, let us know.

They did an excellent job on my harness. They modeled the looming for the stock intake manifold, but i had the greddy, so i took the entire thing apart and looked at the quality of the work, it was great and was soldered and shrink wrapped, but they accidently missed the injector power wire. So i left it sticking out of the harness before i stuck it on the motor and in the car, and we cranked it over a few times, and i figured if the car didnt start, it was becuase the grey wire wasnt twisted together. I got to starting up the car, sure enough, it cranked over but never fired up, got outside of the car, and twisted those wires together ( grey power wire for injectors , which i didnt know at the time ) and BAM sure enough, fired up instantly and ran like a dream.
