It's taken us over a year to develop, design and manufacturer the Wiring Specialties replacement harnesses. As many of you already know, the idea was to forget wiring service and make a complete, perfectly fitting, brand new harness that will work with the specific JDM engine in a specific 240sx chassis simply as a plug and play replacement. No more waiting...

Finally, we are done with the SR harnesses for the S13 and the S14 engine and teeh S14 transmission harnesses. The first orders will be arriving in the next 2 weeks. Pics are of the finalized prototype.

The S13 to S13 replacement units will be done in about 8 weeks.

The features are:- Brand new harness and connectors- improved grounding routing by addition of cross internal grounding - OEM connector specs (no cheap aftermarket connectors that fall apart)- Designed specifically for the 240sx, shortened with proper routing- Works with the Greddy manifolds- Works on all 95-98 240sx - Transmission harness works on in a S14 2240sx with S13 or S14 SR20DET- All A/C, Temp override, Auto On/Off functions- Fully tested after production for an easy plug-and -play replacement- Will improve engine performance through better grounding and power wiring

My thoughts? I would have loved to have had this when I did my SR. Brand new wiring without having to splice in old KA connectors = awesome. What's the price range on these going to be?

Well, it took a very long time to find the right factory. We started over a year ago.

Pricing will be in line with the wiring conversion.. So under $300 for Srs and under $400 for RBs.

Transmission harnesses are also available for those swaps. The great thing about these replacement harnesses is that the quality is OEM, the wiring is as good, if not better and the fit is great for the 240sx. No more looping the harness or shielding the O2 or MAF wiring. All is routed properly with High temp protection. All the wiring is brand new, which alone will improve idle and throttle response.

I really think that the harness can become a replacement item like ECUs, Injectors, ect. Have an old one, get a new one that fits, oooks and performs better.

That is the idea in any case. On deck are the S13 to S13 engine and transmission harnesses, RB20 and RB25.. Should be done in a few weeks.

Will keep everyone posted. ThanksYury

MES14, sorry if it was confusing, but its not both engines we finished the harnesses for, but S13 SR into S14 240sx. More development is going on as we speak.

The transmission harness will work for your swap though...Just see the website for pricing and shipping details.

S13 to S13 engine and transmission harnesses will be ready shortly.

Thanks for the feedback guysYury

Good pricing considering that a SR new harness (which still has to be modded) is around that. I've had my SR for nearly 3 yrs, so wouldn't have been able to wait anyway. Glad you guys are doing this for the community. A lot of SR swap problems go back to the wiring; this should remedy that.

Will the s13 to s13 harness have all the same features, like the auto to manual conversion built into the trans harness?

MES - Sorry man. We'll get them done soon enough.

Homeslice - That's the idea. We'll make our best to make the harnesses as inexpensive as possible, so people can replace their old wiring.

Swat - definitely, the Transmission harness will have the Auto-to-Manual extension harness that can be removed fro a 5-speed application or will be a simple plug-in for the auto car. here is another image

I'll keep everyone posted on the progress.

ThanksYury
