Wiring Sohc harness to Dohc harness.

I installed a '93 ka24de se motor into my regular '90. So i'm tring to wire up the harness correctly. I only match up the right colors so far. What does each color mean cause some of them don't match up. I might have to take pictures of them later on. The sohc harness has 13 wires i think and the dohc se harness has 11 wires. What's going on here?

IIRC correctly ... the 2 left over wires are for the SOHC to be able to use the consult tool. Needless to say you won't be able to use the consult tool after your swap. Just match up all the colors you can and you should be fine.

You only need the colors that were specified to you. The otehr reamaining ones aren't good for muchof anything. Don't worry about them. Are you using the SOHC ecu?... I plan on swapping a DOHC also, and im trying to get more information...my SOHC got blown...

It almost seems that just getting another SOHC would be the best bet..
