I have a few questions about the wiring. The white/purple wire on the rb gray plug it says to connect to the white wire going in to the fuse box. There are several white wires going into that box Witch wire do I need to use? where does it go to in the fuse box? Witch fuse/relay does it go to? And what purpose dose it serve? dose this wire need constant power or just when the key is on? The black/pink wire where dose it connect to the rb harness? I found two wires that look black/pink cumming out of the ecu plug but I am not sure witch one is right. One is thicker than the other. If some one could post some pics that would help allot I am surprised I cant find any.

In the write up by skillzilla it says to find the wire that has 12 volts with the key in the on and start positions and 0 volts in off position. The wire I found had a little over 1 volt in off position, 12 volts in on and around 9 during start. The black/pink wire I dont understand. Is it sending power to the ecu to turn on the fuel pump? or is the ecu sending power to the fuel pump through the black/pink wire. I cant see collors verry well Is it the thick o thin wire?I have read your write up several times it has helped allot.

The black and pink wire just needs a good ground as far as I know, I connected to one of the black/pink on the ECU but I cant remember which. Others have said its just a ground though and can go anywhere.

And the white/purple wire, like I said in the write up there should be a wire with 0 volts in that same plug, Im not sure why it would have 1+ volts in the off position. Someone else post up and say if thats OK to connect on, because I dont know.

I found the pinout for the rb20. The black/pink in the bottom pic is the one it should go to. Pin 18 fuel pump relay. Now when I turn the key on without the ecu pluged in the relays click. When I plug in the ecu and connect the battery the light in the ecu comes on when the key is off. Is this normal or should the light only come on when the key is on?

When I crank it fires about 5 times then stops firing. Every time I crank it does the same thing. Sounds like its gonna start, then it stops firing. What should I look for?

Its alive and sounds awesome. My maf was bad, I am glad I kept that maxima maf. Also I tried the stock down pipe and it fits perfect, clears the steering shaft by an inch. Test drive this weekend.

you need to use the wire off the IGNITION fuse--be sure it's behind the fuse, not on the battery side. the fuse cover has it labeled.
