I have a S14 chassis and am putting a S13 SR20DET. Does anyone have any tips or know how to wire the motor to work with all the accesories (instrument panel, cruise control, A/C,etc...)? I don't have the stock KA harness as I sold it with the motor. I already know about HeavyThrottle, but they need the stock KA harness. I have all the schematics and pinouts, but am just wondering if anybody already knew how to do it or knows of an easy way. Thanks!!!

If you give me the japanese schematics, I may be able to get all the wiring down to mix and match. Keep in mind, some connectors you need to use are from the KA harness. I have most of the wiring except a/c I believe. Didn't really start on the project yet, as I giving myself step by step instructions on what to do on everything before I jump in head first and get a lot of cuts, bruises, and bleed all over myself =). Also, money is short at hand.

Hey Thanks.....I'll send you the schematics, no problem. AS for the A/C, I've heard that it's a pain, so I really won't worry about that now. Do you think that they way you are planning, would be plug and play, I mean other than splicing some wires here and there? The wiring harness that I sent was the main harness from the ECU, but not the lower engine harness that goes to the fuse/relay box in the engine bay. Which KA connectors are needed? What is you email so that I can send the schematics and pinouts? Thanks again!!!

I already have the schematics of the USDM, just not the jap one. My email is [email protected] I can not yet tell you exactly which connectors are needed yet because my schematics don't show connector names and such. I just shows where the connector can be located at. Most of which the wiring at http://sr20.hybrids.jp/install....html is correct and I have verified it on the USDM schematics. As for the ABS and cruise, I have a rough idea but will need the japanese wiring to match with the US. Also the A/C is very different on the S13 jap wiring versus the American S14 wiring.

Yeah, just send it around. We can put all our info together and most likely be able to get it all right. Martin has a japanese wife, so anything we might not understand on it, she can read it and correct it for us =).

Well, I tried to send the email, but the file is jsut WAY too big!!! It's 33mb. It's even already in ZIP format. It's the whole FSM for the S13 in English. I can't remember where I found it, but I keep looking and I'll post the link when I do. As for now, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Is it possible just to pull the wiring diagrams out and save them as a seperate file and just send them? I should have no problem receiving a 33Mb file, I'm unrestricted for attachment sizes, but if you can't send it that could be a problem. Could you put it somewheer that i could grab it? An FTP site, or something?

Is this english version for the S13 SR20DET and not the CA18?

It's the S13 FSM SR20DET from Europe, not the CA. Well, I emailed Yury at Heavythrottle and asked how hard it really is to wire everything up, and his reply made me realize that maybe it would be better if and less if a hassle if I just sent it in to them. I would rather spend the extra money and have it running then have a big a$$ lawn orniment. So thanks for everybodies help!!! One more thing......does anyone the stock wiring harness for a 1995-1998 240sx for sale????? If you do or no of anybody that does, please email at [email protected]. I will keep trying to figure out a way to send the FSM to everbidy that wants it!!!
