Hey guys. This is my first real post so hello to everyone. But I have been wanting to buy a 300zx for quite some time now and I finally sold my car so it is now time!

Anyways I had a wiring question. There is one car that I am looking at that is a really good deal and has most of the features that I want and they are asking a really good price for it. The only thing is there are a couple wiring issues. Apparently the alarm has a little glitch in it and I am not to worried about that. I was just going to take it to our local car audio and video shop and just have them uninstall it then reinstall a new one.

But the one that I had a real question on was I guess there is a little issue with the headlights. I think they just have issues turning on and such. So I figure that it could be a few things. Loose fuse, faulty headlight switch on the column, or funky wiring. With all that in mind (i know the 300zx is a beast to work on) how difficult is it to access the wiring harness? just so I can try and trace the problem?

Thanks for the help in advanced guys.

The switch pops right off with two screws, so you can access the lighting harness. I'd start at the headlight connectors though, as I suspect they are corroded.
