Hey guys, I had a wiring question. I want to wire a set of fog lights and a bigger horn into my 2009 versa. I was wondering, as long as both are fused, can i wire both(seperately) to the positive battery terminal? Is it safe to do this? Thanks

Can you, yes. Should you, no. Hypothetically its safe but it would get annoying disconnecting your battery cable to turn off your lights and horn. You might try the existing wiring for the horn and something switchable for the lights, SL's are pre-wired for fogs, you would just need the steering column switches you can find on versa speed... I think. most aftermarket kits come with pretty helpful instructions if you seek another alternative.

Search the forum for fog light threads. There are lots of them.

And no, don't wire it directly to your battery unless you want them on all the time..even when you're car is off. Wire them to a switched outlet so they will only receive power when the key is in the ignition.
