i got these wiring instructions from frsport.com there for the s13 redtop i already did the dash connector and extended the o2 sensor and mass air flow sensor wires. the last thing it says i need to is "cut the end of the harness with the three plugs and mate it to the chassis." It says the plugs have different pinouts, so i will either need to use the plugs from the ka harness, or wire them up directly. It says if you dont have the ka harness only two of the plugs are used, while the third is unrequired.

here is a pic of the sr harness with the three plugs[IMG][/IMG]

and heres a pic of the ka harness, but it doesnt have the third plug[IMG][/IMG]

there is almost the same amount of wires, but it seems like im going to have a bunch of unused wires and some that dont match up. also where are the other ends of these connectors

the following image is the only wiring instructions that I used... hopefully you can make some sense out of it. unfortunately i did my swap like 4 years ago, and I have my S14 on me atm so i can't go look

I'm starting to remember now... You have to cut those two plugs off of your KA engine harness (leave yourself some slack for splicing), and splice them per the above diagram to the SR harness. Basically match up the colors, but the two heavier gauge 12v wires have to be twisted together and spliced as one to the counterpart on the KA plug. One is for ignition, the other supplies power to the coilpacks. The one 12v source on the KA side supplies enough amps to handle both.

As for the leftover wires, I bent them into a loop and used a length of heat-shrink tubing to consolidate them so i could neatly tuck them away.

One of the brown wires has 12v with the key on, and it goes to the O2 sensor. Another one of the wires also is 12v switched, and goes to the aac valve, but I can't remember which color.
