Well, can't seem to find any concrete writeups online on S13 wiring for an auto to manual swap, so I could use some help from someone who has done it and has it working. Just need to know what to jumper and what sensors to hook up where.

i've been trying to help zach get his car up and running over the 'net and phone. We have the park neutral switch wired up, and the car starts now. But for the convertible top to work, he needs to wire the park switch off the inhibitor plug (second plug down behind the passenger side fuse box) to a constant loop. The constant wire is green/blue, and the park wire is brown/yellow, and I had him splice those two, but he says the top still doesn't work. I'm wondering why the top isn't working now, and since I can't take a look at it personally, I'm stumped. This is the same process as hooking up reverse lights (green/blue to green/white off the inhibitor switch), so I'm wondering if anyone has had problems with getting their reverse lights working after a five speed swap and found out it was something like the AT control unit or something.

update on situation:

his car starts, but we're still having trouble with the inhibitor switch.

The AT unit controls the top stack actuator (the top). It will only work in park (and neutral I think). What we need to do is trick the A/T unit into thinking that it is in park. The way I did it on mine is that we connected the park and ground wires at the inhibitor plug.

Zach did that, and it didn't work. So my next idea is to have him go down to the A/T unit and connect the wires there. Does anyone think this is a good/bad idea?
