i wired both my efans so turn on when the fuel pump relay is on, via 2 relays. i also wired up my turbo timer how its supposed to be, with the ignition wires in steering column. when the car turns off and turbo timer keeps it on, my fans switch off. this leads me to beleive the fuel pump relay switches off, but isn't that impossible if car stays running? I'm thinking i didn't wire the efan relays correctly. I will double check, but is there a second source that people reliably wire the efans into so that they are always on while the car is on?

thanks

That's wierd, because unless you wired up the turbo time wrong, it's just like leaving the car on. NOTHING should turn off when you remove the key. Did you use a wiring harness, or did you hard wire it in?

hardwired to on, 12v and acc wires from ign column. first guess would be that fans are wired up wierd cause how could the car stay running if fuel pump relay is off?

im pretty sure theres 2 grounds and 2 sources for 12v. when either one of the 12v wires sees 12v, its on low. when both see 12v, its on high. use relays. wire the relays to flip on when the engine is on, i used the fuel pump relay wire but its having issues, but this is usually the one to go off. i have it setup so that both are on low when the car is on, and both can be on high through switches inside the cabin.
