wiring problems still gtir

the swap is almost finished. still no spark. i bought a brand new coil and checked all the wires from ecu->power resistor-> resistor and condencer-> coil and there all good. the ecu is still not putting ENOUGHT power to the coil. its sending some power but no where enoght. i had 2 broken clips on the distributer cap, so i replaced that.

my MAF couldnt be messing anything up? im trying to use the stock ser (b13) MAF. i herd from somebody that, that could be the problem. if i need to swap a different one in that wouldnt be a problem. my buddy has a couple z32 maf laying around.

also, what is the specs on the resistor and condencer? could my ecu be messed up? how can i check to see if my ecu is still good?

I'd use a Z32 MAF anyway, you're going to want the extra capacity with a GTi-R.

I don't think your ECU is the problem. However, I also don't know the resistance figures. Do you have an FSM? If not, get one from the link in my sig.

If there are specs to be had, that's the only place you're going to find them is why I asked.

i have the z32 but i was wondering. you dont need the JWT turned ecu to run that MAF do you. i herd that it wouldnt work on my gtir ecu.

You can run the MAF with the GTiR ECU, but you need a S AFC or emanage for it to work properly.
