wiring problems KA24de

i dunno how to expalin it, but i swaped out my KA for another one, i have done this many times befor and this has not happened, but this time when i went to crank it up it, after i got my timing right, i noticed the dash lights and tail lights didint work, and none of the gauges worked ither, but the head light worked but the motor did not work so i cranked them up by hand, and took it down the street.. drove for like 30 mins and as soon as i got back to my garage everything worked fine. but now they arnt workign agine, anyone have a solution or anything to help me out.

That sounds like a loose ground somehwere.

well i think i fixed it. my alternator fuse was blown. so now everything works for now
