Wiring problem

hello i am new to this forum and i have a silvia ( currently in japan). My car has a wiring problem and I removed the negative terminal and with my multi meter read almost 12 volts with the neg lead from the mulitmeter to the ned battery terminal, and the positive multimeter terminal to the actual neg wire. the neg wire was disconeccted which ment something was pulling power. i pulled all fuses and relays and there was still 12 volts constant. the stock radio is not in the car. are there any common problems with this car before i rip out the raido and start check around in there ? or should i check the radio power suplly lines first ? any help would be appreicated.
