I am in the middle of getting an S13 swap finished up, and when I went to hook my battery up, all the dash lights light up, even with the key off. When I disconnected the Blue/red, and Black/red wiring for the Main ignition power they shut off. When the Main ignition power wiring is hooked up, it doesn't crank either. I have triple checked all my solder points, and wiring using FRsport.com's write up. Sorry if this is a stupid question, it's been a long day! Any ideas?

Sounds like you have something backfeeding through the black/red wire. Make sure you didn't accidentally hook up a constant power to it.

In areas you should have touched, there's a red wire. It's a constant power supply that feeds backup power to the ECU, make sure you didn't accidentally wire anything along the black/red and blue/red wires to it.

Aside from that I can't think of many other constant power sources you would have messed with that could cause something like this. But go through and double check all of your plugs that you have all the wire colors matched up properly.

Thanks for the response Bert. I was thinking the same thing, but at 12am things just don't make as much sense. I'll have to go through it all tonight. This is my first SR20DET swap....but I have another interesting swap, and it didn't get much grief from wiring. I'll update tonight.
