My car was running just about perfect until a couple weeks ago. I was driving and all of a sudden the car started bumbling and sputtering and had like no power. I pulled over at my friends house and popped the hood and the engine was shaking pretty badly. It wasn't idling low or anything, the engine was just shaking like it was about to cut off but it was idling at 900 rpm?

So I started messing with some stuff, and touched these wires and the motor stopped shaking and went back to normal...these are the wires I messed with:

Now, every once in a while my car will start sputtering and I have to stop somewhere and mess with the wires, like wiggle them around until it goes back to normal. What the helll? Is there a short in the wire or something? Maybe the connection in the plug?

If you cant tell by the picture, its the plug that clips into the fuse box, right in between the fuel pump and the fuse box. How could I go about checking it and seeing exactly what it is, b/c its a huge PITA having to pull over and mess with those wires every couple of days.:help
