The valve can be checked rather quickly using a Consult-2 (Infiniti/Nissan scan tool). Technician can go into work support-active test and overide the ECM to manually open the valve in percentages, at the same time go to the connector and see if the voltage varies accordingly. That system isn't that complicated to diagnose. Is the engine stalling whether hot or cold? Stalling only in drive or reverse? The boot torn between the throttle body and air filter housing? When did the concern start happening? Giving the tech as much information as possible can sometimes be the difference between an hour diagnose fee to several hours.
