I was planning on jumping on the LED bandwagon and enhancing the ambient lighting, but I was curious as to whether or not the Y33 chassis has digital control modules for the door lights or whether they are wired in conventionally.

For example, I wanted area lights to come on with my lower courtesy lights when the door is open, but if there is only a common lead and a data wire this won't be possible if the car uses modules to control all of that. Otherwise I'll just wire them in parallel.....

The ambient lighting I wanted to turn on with the ignition - I figured this would keep me from running any more wires into the door than I had too...
