wiring mess.. need help with body portion of SR harness.

Hey gang... I could use a hand as I'm getting a bit frustrated with this project now.

The wiring harness was supposed to be complete and uncut. The engine portion (sensors, injectors, etc..) is just fine.

The other other part.. not so nice!



The stock KA auto trans harness had only two plugs at the end of that portion.. the connected into a couple of plugs right behind the battery. I think those plugs then went into that fuse box which then I believe connects to the lower harness in order to get power from the alternator, signal to the starter, etc..

This SR harness has a lot more wires than the old harness did.. What is going on here?

These wires will go to the two plugs on your KA harness out of all those cut wires only about 8 will be soldered inbetween the two harness's.

Those wires are: MAFS (white w/ shielded wire, black/white stripe, and black I believe), Power steering pressure sensor (purple/white, and another black I believe), AC compressor clutch switch (blue/green)

First split of wires is: Either the 4 or 5 pin side of the igniter chip (all four of those red colored wires, and a black gound if its the 5 wire side of the igniter chip), The browns are 12 volt sources for the EGR/AIV valve (useless), and the boost control solenoid (orange/black IIRC)
