wiring in speed sensor to s14...auto to manual conversion. need help

i cut the wires to the stock auto speed sensor harness and they are red and white.. these are the correct wires to connect the 5 speed sensor too right?

if so i have green and black coming off my 5 speed sensor. which goes to red and which goes to white

they are the same plug. i dont know why you cut the speed sensor

i got the sensor to the transmission with no plug...

do you know if the white and red are the correct wires that i need to wire the sensor too? i can always try it one way and then the other

honestly i dont know that. you may not get an answer on that because not many people have to wire the speed sensor on the s14 because the plugs are the same auto~manual

the only thing i would do at this point is testing it out. if it doesnt work switch the wires around. and like motoman said i dont think many people have cut the speed sensor before.
