wiring in rb what is rsm? also ecu question.

ok well, i have had my rb swap in and running for about 2 weeks, altho i have had a 5k cut out problem. last night i finally decided to crack open the ecu to see if there was any visible damage. sure enuf there was a char spot on the board... awesome... so this leads me to my first question. i have a dead ecu that needs replacing. it is a s1 and the numbers on the case are TJ 23710 21U01 MEC-R521 A1 4125. i haven't been able to find one for sale with these exact numbers. what ecu will work to run my car?

this leads me to question 2. while the ecu is out i decided to finish up the other wiring in the car. i have reached the point of wiring in the tach and speedo signals and in the tech article it mentions wires from the "RSM" i cant find what this is. any help on these 2 questions would be greatly appreciated.

any s1 ecu should run the car...its been debated a while but from what i remember the s2 will as well.

rsm = rev speed meter, a unit made by apexi

where is a reliable place to purchase an ecu from?

just realized i never put in my first post. its a rb25.
