Ive converted to DET from CA18DE quite a while ago now but never got round to installing the resister pack which I have. Its run fin without it but Ive just put bigger injectors in and got the computer re-mapped so dont want to risk burning out the ecu. Im running a DE loom with the DET computer so there isnt a plug to plug it into. Ive got the wiring diogram here. The injector plug has 5 wires, 4 black and one white. Im assuming the white is the power and the black go to the injectors. So the white goes to pin 58 (Battery unswitched) so from there I take it each black wire goes to an injector (Does it matter what one) then from the injectors it leads back to ecu pins 101, 110, 103, 112 (Injector number drive output) now whats got me confused is, is the injector drive output a switched earth or positive? I was thinking earth since the other end of the circit was positive.

So do I just run a wire from pin 58 (battery) to the white wire on the resistor and then each black wire to each injector to the wires coloured W, Y, G, L?

piece of piss, man. You are real close.

12v to the injectors is tee'd off from the 12V feed to pin58. This should go to the common wire that feeds the resistor pack. Check that the resitance from the uncommon wire to each of the black wires is equal.

The injectors are 'earth' switched through pins 101,110,103,112.

Cheers,Chris
