alryte, so i bought a 240sx shell, and when i took a peek inside, the guys who had it clipped the harness. so is it as easy as finding a new cluster and soldering the wires together? or is it harder than that?

Where was it clipped at..the harness plug by the ecu, or right behind the gauge cluster? If it's right behind the gauge cluster where the 3 plugs go into the back of the cluster, that 3 plug harness actually goes into one or two plugs on the opposite end, which can be unplugged not to far back in behind the dash(its reachable by hand)..unplug that and just find another short harness. And wait, what's this, you're in luck, I've got one sitting in my garage!

haha, where you located? and how much you want? Donations are greatly accepted. This is for a school club project car. But other than that, give me a price.

like...10 bucks shipped. Also, you never answered the orignial question. Is that where your harness is cut at? Right behind the gauge cluster, so you dont have the 3 plugs that go into the back of the cluster?

email me at [email protected] for my paypal address. I just want like 10 shipped for it. But I must warn you that this is the jdm cluster harness. Most people will tell you that its identical to the usdm, but I inspected both side by side and the jdm has about 3 wires or so that are switched around. It's no big deal, just check out the fsm to see all the color codes and what does what.
