Wiring help with instrument cluster

I recently did a KA24de swap in my 89 coupe with HUD. I connected the cluster harness coming off of the ecu by matching the wires colors and repinning them. the coolant gauge, battery light, oil light, and fuel gauge works but the tach, odometer, dash lights and speedometer dont work. The HUD lights up but only a 0 displays. Any ideas on what to do for this? and is there any way to make the tach work whithout getting a new one?
