alrite so started splicing the harness today. after the extendin of the o2

and the maf i started on the 2 connectors that hook up to the body

harness right behind the pass. head light. but before i do this i must splice

the two plugs from the ka harness to the sr harness. heres my question,

in heavy throttle's write-up see a black /red stripe wire, but nothing on my

sr harness i also have a pink wire that i dont see on the ka harness. do i

have to connect every single wire from the ka harnes to the sr harness?

plus i have a pink wire on one of the harness' and the other one

doesnt..

You will have some wires left over and there should be a black/ red stripe on the SR. Here is another good write up but with pictures. http://www.frsport.com/sr20det....html

on the engine side of the gray plug both the black/red and the blue/red wires need to be connected to the black/redwire on the car side of the plug.

about the pink wires? are you talking about the black/pink wires on the brown plugs?? if so, yes they need to be connected.

I'm having the exact same trouble with mine. I figured out all the wires except for the pink one coming off the brown plug on the KA harness. I'm thinking it has something to do with my car being an auto but I dunno. I pretty much got the rest figured out but none of these write-ups mention a pink wire or wtf you supposed to do with it. Anyone? I forgot to mention that the color coding on my O2 was somewhat different from what the faqs talk about. Instead of having a brown and yellow plug mine was black (on the SR harness). Also the middle white plug was the same color but it appears to be sheilded for some reason. When I spliced and extended I used a slightly thicker gauge wire off the KA harness but I couldn't find the same kinda wiring anywhere in the KA harness. I hope this won't screw anything up.
