wiring harnesses and ecu's

I searched this with little help.

Are wiring harnesses and ecu from 91-92 ka24de w/manual trans identical. The reason I ask is because while looking for my new motor someone at a junkyard mentioned something about whether the car was made before or after 2/92 ( i think that was the date )

Has someone thought of making a chart for this stuff? If they have where is it?

Any insight would be appreciated.
