Anyone ever had to remove there harness? From what it looks like its all one harness from battery to ecu and dash. Mine has major short just wondering if anyone had to remove before go to the yard and plan how long going to take me.

It took a buddy of mine a few hours to get the harness out of his 96. As you said, it's one piece and runs everywhere.

YAY here we go few hours at home and few hours in jy. Hope its actually the problem. Truck runs real rich with ecu relay fuel pump relay and engine control fuse all pulled out lol. With all 3 of those in runs the same. Already got new ecu maf etc.

What happens if you unplug the injectors one by one? I think you can get to them all fairly easily. I'm not sure what year we're talking about, but if you have a bad lower o-ring in a side feed injector it'll flood thinks like crazy. It might even be worth unbolting the rail and pressurizing it with the fuel pump (turn the key on but don't start the engine) to make sure there's no fuel squirting out anywhere...
