Wiring Harness

im looking for a wiring diagram for the vh45 for an installation into a patrol. are the links to diagrams on this site the only diagrams available?

I have the motor and wiring harness, auto box, ecu and airbox. before i start the install is there any componants that would be needed from the origional vehicle?

Any info would be apriciated.

i believe there is a member on here who has a turbo vh in his patrol but he is running some kind of standalone on it...he may be able to drop some hints for you.

I too am doing the VH conversion in a '90 Patrol although using the 41 instead of the 45. If you know what your engine came out of it helps a great deal. For most of my wiring I have referred to the 2001 Q45 FSM (available on the Nico site) and although there are minor differences in the setup and colours differ greatly it has givn me enough to get by. Mettler also posted an ECU diagram that was a closer match to mine which was a bonus. With mine being carby originally, I was glad to have bought the front cut as I needed alot more wiring than just the engine loom to use the factory ECU
