Will this write up work for an S14 SR into an S14 aswell???

http://www.frsport.com/sr20det....html

And if not, does anyone have any write ups on converting your own harness for an S14 SR into an S14, since I really wud like NOT TO have to send out my harness to get converted.

So forgive me but Im pretty confused here.

Let me try and explain what my thought is on the PDF attatchment on that zilvia page.

Say on the bottom diagram of the KA dash plug. And then the top dash plug diagram thats been converted. Basically is #1, #2, and so on, on the BOTTOM diagram the same ans #1, #2, and so on on the TOP dash connector plug the same? Just the wires moved accordingly?

By the main plug are you referring to the ECU connector?

so to make it easier take the sr f4 plug and label each "wire"with the correct number as shown on the f4 plug. then pull every wire out of the plug and start sticking them back into the f4 plug according to the f4 repin. ex. pin 1 on the f4 plug before the repin is the first pin on the left of the plug. pull it out and move it over to the 7th spot on the top.

Ahhh alright for some reason I thought u had to repin the f4 wires back into the m63 connector

So basically your just redoing the F4 plug, and that will connect back into the chassis under the dash correct?

as far as i know you are correct. i was told the sr f4 connector plug fits right where the m63 ka one goes under the dash. just repin the f4 plug and you should be good. let me know how it goes.

I was thinking of osakajdmmotors because a few of my buddies have had good dealings with them in the past.

But if I can find someone cheaper and just as reliable I will. If anyone has any siggestions let me know. My budget is around $2500 shipped for a full motor set.

yes i bought 2 motors from osaka and they were perfect. but my third s14 sr i bought from jhot-imports for 2500 shipped and it came with everything. and they even told me actual mileage.

if you buy from osaka you dont get the maf, ignitor, or intercooler. if you need any of that let me know.

yea thats what i did too. but you are going to need the maf and ignitor which he doesnt provide. and if you want to buy it from him its like 100 bucks for the ignitor and 150 for the maf. i have them both for 130 shipped total. (im running a pfc using map sensor now)
