wiring harness problems with sr20gtir into 96 200sx ser please help!!asap!

You can run the GTiR ecu, but will need to use the JDM sensors, such as water temp, MAF and o2. I tried this setup for awhile, but always had cold start issues, so I ditched GTiR ecu, that and it is limited to 7500 rpm's and 110mph. Get a calum Real Time ecu.

I have just swapped my sr20gtir motor into my 96 200sx ser and the only problems I have ran into is that I dont know exactly how to wire it up so if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it i need to get my car runnin asap. I have the ecu and wiring harness that came with the gtir motor and i have my old ecu and harness off my stock sr20. I need to know if i can use my old ecu or the gtir ecu or do i have to buy one of those $600 or $700 ecu?? and am i supposed to add part of my old wiring harness to the gtir harness? Or can i cut gtir harness so that i can add my old ecu..any help would be much appreciated my nissan is my only way of transportation right now

Tuned stock ECU set up for whatever boost you're running. Use your stock harness, though your injector connections are different IIRC, so you may need to swap over that portion of the GTi-R harness.

Run a search, I'm pretty certain that's it, but I know we've discussed it several times before here or in the FWD SR20 forum.

Again, I'd search to confirm, but I'm pretty sure that's it.
