wiring harness problems 96 ka in a 95 with 96 harness

I put a 96 ka24de in my 95 two forty. I swapped the engine wiring harness and ecu, but there is one connector that does not work or lacking connection? Anyone swapped a 96 in a 95? What did you do? I spent hours in the factory sevice manual provided by ka-t.org, but still coming up blank. I come up with connector b35 on page el-226 and cant find out what that connector is. I read every page. twice. I will be buying a battery tomorrow, filling fluids and testing it all out. I am sure those 8 - 10 wires are for something. It connects right next to the smaller ecu-type harness that has a latch/buckle on it to keep it tight. If you look at the connector on the 96 harness the pins are all in a row. Pics tomorrow if no answers...
