wiring harness problem?????

Okay today I was putting in my whole interior wiring harness and I noticed that the plug that goes into the sensor on clutch pedal bracket wasn't there its the one were you press on the clutch pedal to start the car.my question is there a way to bypass it to start the car or would I have to wire one in there?thanks. I would post pics but I don't really kno how lol

There is a wire you bridge off of a plug at the main fuse box under the hood. Find out which plug goes to the safety switch and there is your answe. Sorry I don't know exactly which plug. It was on my friends car...

No it a 5 speed but but am starting to think that because am not finding any cliped wires or any sround there....is there a way to bypass it I really don't wana buy another harness

Yeah you can bypass it, i dont recall the color of the wires but you can hook them together or hook them to a seperate switch.

Okay am pretty sure I got in now I read a couple auto to 5speed write ups I bridged the plug as you can see in the pic is this right???

Yup, and about the harness....Do you have a black 4 inch box or a metal ecu looking box, behind the hood release lever under the dash?

well I know for sure there's a green box up there then I black box down by the fuse box....

Was the car originally auto or man?Did you swap any harness's?

I bought the shell as a 5speed orginally a 5speed and jus purchased the whole harness....so I guess I got jiped buying the auto harness

I have things boxed up to move now, so I cant check the auto harness untill wed or thurs....But I'm pretty sure thats AUTO., Ill go take a pic of the manual one now...Gimmy a secBTW, you can email me at [email protected] for faster answers.
