Wiring harness help

Hey I just bought a 1990zx and it doesn't run. It looks like someone tryed to fix it but failed cause there is butt connectors everywhere luckily I got an extra one. I am looking for advice on how to take te old one out and put the new one in. Do I have to pull motor or just take intake off? Any tips and tricks would be appreciated thanks guys

I've only put a harness in a Z31 not 32 but that one had to be cut to remove with engine in the car. Looks like with the battery out there's enough room to gain access to the firewall where harness goes through to remove it but I haven't tried it so idk if there's actually enough room.

Yea it looks like there is but mainly it's to get the ecu connector into the hole in the firewall and down into the passenger footwell when I was taking the old one out of the car it was a pain and the motor was out I can just imagine how it will be with motor in. I want to know if it is possible and if someone else has done it before
