i had 3 black insulated wires on my n62 MAF...2 with copper wire 1 with a silverish wire. maybe that's my problem?i followed this diagram, but i'm starting to think that this is for the sr20 motor since a 200sx isn't really the same as a 240sx..http://www.sxoc.com/site/static/z32afm.php

No, a 200sx is an SR20DE powered car that was offered in Australia and Europe, I believe. Anyway, thank you all. I will try to wire it up this weekend, and soon I will have my Enthalpy and I will be golden.

EDIT: Of course, I am speaking in terms of the S Chassis, not the B chassis. I should be clear on that before I get flamed.

that's what i was talking about...the euro 200sx.

anyways, i think the ecu i sent to enthalyp was ****ed up. right after i put it in, it won't run and throws codes for the knock sensor, coolant temp sensor, and camshaft position sensor. DAMMIT! but that's another thread.

hope yours works.

I just posted to that, I wonder if you have any info on that, I would appreciate it. Will Enthalpy swap over from one computer to another (for a small fee) if you find the ECU to be bad?

i hope that's the problem...i'm going to swap in the other ecu to see if it throws those codes. i'm also going to wait until i'm sure the ecu or adapter harness is bad before i bother him. i may even get an safc to see if i can get it to run first. i don't know, i'm getting bummed out.

hey chezedik, did you wire your z32 maf up how loofee wrote? this is what my maf consisted of color wise- one black, one white, one black white, and one orange, so my n62 maf doesnt even fit the wire colors he wrote. i clicked on that ka-t.org link and that seemed alot more feasible than what homeboy up there wrote. plus there were a few on that link that could vouch for it working correctly. i just got done doing mine how the links diagram was. the orange wire ended up being the one grounded to the chassis, and all the other wires didnt color match to the stock de.

i put in a q45 maf and it was same color code as stock 240 maf and I had read q45 is a 5 wire. I think it is impportant just to make sure power signal and grounds are connected cause that is all 240 maf uses

I was using the Jim Wolf write-up and the colors did not match, can anyone else confirm or deny?

Before that I said that I had used the Jim Wolf diagram. Also, in it, they claim that their information may not be totally accurate. I was just looking for confirmation.

I'm only posting that pic for peeps who can't read the PDF. That diagram is exactly right by the way.

Yeah, but as we discussed, I viewed it backwards, so I am going to pop my pins out of the connector and switch them. Although maybe I should wire it up for the sake of diagnosis later.

BTW, thank you for that phonewatch ****, d!ck. My girlfriend and I got in a fight over it. But to be fair, I finally won an arguement!

Don't bump old threads. I already locked your last thread about this because the info is in the sticky. This is on par with making a new thread when your previous one got locked which is against the rules.

What is it you need exactly?
