I have purchased, but have not yet installed an after market spoiler for my 94Q. It is a twin to the original one on the "t" model. Would any one know if I can hook up the stop light, which comes with it, or would that goof up the computer?? thanks for help!!! Wayne

You will notice the rear parcel shelf for the t models does not have the CHMB assembly. I am not sure about the harness for the t model, but I suspect it is an add-on to the standard wiring harness.

Might check with Joe.

Thanks for reply Brian, I was just under my Q trying to get my oil filter off, I can't believe they put the oil filter where they did, anyway I can't, so far, find a way to get it off. I asked Joe in Scottsdale what I should use, he said their mechanics use a belt type, I went to napa and bought one and all I accompished was to dent the existing oil filter. I can't believe I am having so much trouble trying to get a oil filter changed. I also have tried 2 other types. What do you use? Do I dare drive it with a dented oil filter?? It isn't leaking.. Thanks much!! Wayne

Slight dent compression shouldn't hurt short term.

It's a lot easier on the lift. Some members still approach from the top and this has been discussed in previous posts. for me, it's messy enough from the bottom.

It can be done.First time I tried it it took me 30 sweat drenched contorting minutes to get the filter off.

What type of take off tool do you use? I have tried the belt that didn't work. I am going to try anything and everything until I get it, I guess Iam getting stuborn and just don't want to give up. Wayne

Sounds like whoever put it on last didn't lube the gasket and cranked it down too tight.

Last ditch effort: Punch a hole through it and torque it off with a long screwdriver.

Replace HAND-TIGHT only.

Nissan OEM filter is a good fit for the pressed steel end-cap style filter wrench, size H, I think. Pep Boys carries a complete selection. Filters by other manufacturers may differ.

I spent quite a lot of time and effort on this the first time, before I found this wrench. This is the only way (for me, at least) to get it off easily. Works like a charm. Go in from the bottom.
