Wiring expertise needed

Hi,

I have a 1990 240SX that I am looking to install a JDM S14 SR20DET into. I had originally wired in a CA18DET, but the motor tuned out to be blown so I've gone a different route.

Wiring for the CA was pretty simple, but I hear that things get a little more difficult with the S14 drivetrain.

I sold the converted CA harness complete, so I no longer have the KA dash harness plug (it waswired into the CA harness).

Does anyone know if I can wire the SR dash harness plug into my existing dash harness so I can just plug it into the SR engine harness, or do this make things more difficult.

I think I am going to buy the DVD listed in this forum.... if they will ship to Canada..... has anyone had experience with this DVD? It's a great deal for $20 if it'll get me up and running.

Don't bother buying the DVD, everything you need to know can be found here or elsewhere on the internet.

The DVD is really helpful. It shows you how to do everything step by step. I just hope you got a good harness, unlike myself who got a total piece of crap for one. So my car wont run...

I got my CA with a clipped harness and it took me almost 2 years to source all the parts to complete it (harness came from australia, MAFS and Ignitor from BC, fuel injector resistor and ECU from Japan, etc). Only to get it started and find that the motor was shot.

This time I bought the complete fromt clip..... everything is there and looks clean. This is the clip.

I ordered it.

The CA harness was very similar to the KA, so I had the wiring done in a couple of hours..... this one looks a little trickier though, so hopefully the DVD clarifies things a bit.
