wiring/ecu questions for my ka24e to ka24de swap

Ok, I am starting my swap from ka24e to ka24de (then turbo)my car is a 1990 and my donor car is a 1993. the donor car is automatic.

Will I have to modify the harness at all to fit my manual transmission?

Will the auto ecu work, because of my manual transmission?

lastly, they say its good to swap the dash also, is it true and will it work as long as I swap out the harness for the dash, with my manual transmission?

ok your sohc trans should bolt right up to you dohc block, you car will run being manual with an auto ecu(wont work manual ecu with auto though), not surre about the harness thing,and your thinking about the cluster so you tach works. In recent discovery BY ME you can use your stock sohc tach by running a wire from your ignition coil positive to the wire at the back of the cluster that says TAM. Good luck and from now on search its all been covered bra
