I've got a '89 nissan 240sx and I'm in the middle of installing a red top sr20det. The harness was cut at the valve cover, and I have the SR's plug to the ECU... a couple wires are giving me trouble:

pin 105 = fuel pressure control module - red/white, I have no idea where i'm supposed to hook it up on the SR engine

pin 109 = reverse electrical flow return circuit (alternator fail input) - red, wtf where does this go? Main engine fuse box or what? pin 111 = turbo boost pressure control solenoid (overboost cut?) orange/black, again wtf. does this even need to be hooked up? pin 45 = ambient air temp sensor blue/white, This one puzzle's me It doesn't go to the MAFS....? whats an ambient air temp sensor? where is it anyone know? Also there's a 5th wire coming from the coil packs by the igniter but not into the igniter, if i remember right its blue with red, now is this a ground or a power wire? One more thing Do the grounds really matter, i mean if i hook up a sensor ground to an eccs ground that should be ok right as long as everything is grounded?

Someone please help... thanks in advance

i think that pin 111 is not used... as most people toss out that solenoid.

i DO NOT know for sure.. but there is a sensor mounted in front of the radiator.. might that be your missing #45?

Sorry i cant help with the rest...

go to http://www.srswap.com and go to install faq and under electrical there is a lot of good info. there are like 13 wires by the ecu and i think 6 of them get hooked up, the rest go to a check module that is uncommon between the two cars, and is not needed. but ht's site will tell you more

Good info on the DASH WIRING quik (as absolutely vague as it is). SK has a cut harness between the BIG BLUE ECU PLUG and the valve cover...From reading his post I am assuming he is reconnecting all that with new wires.

Now SK:Where is the harness actually cut and how much of it is missing? Pic?pin 111 is not used/necessary. This goes to the boost solenoid on the ignitor chip plate.pin 45 is the ambient temp sensor mounted on the bottom of the middle beam in front of the radiator (below hood latch).I think pin 105 goes to 1 of the plugs near the back of the fuel rail?I have no idea on the reverse electrical flow wire.

I know every color of the bundle you are talking about, and I'm still trying to remember what goes where, but this is all I can help with right now.
