Dear All new to this forum as poster but have read numerous posts and have learned a lot from you guys!!!
Anyways; I'm swapping a 97KA24DE in a 88 Pathfinder(came with the Z24i engine) I have read in many posts that the Tach won't work on single cam engines due to different signal. I am keeping the S14 distributor; don't wanna go the route of changing everything to S13 to make the tach work.i already have the 97FSM but it does not quite show which of the wires going out of the distributor is the tach impulse. I wanna use that impulse to energize my old coil and therefore sent an impulse to my old tach.
I will keep (on of) my old coil(s) just to make my tach work.
Does this sound viable to anyone??
