i bought a 240 and when i bought it from the previous owner someone had stolen the radio and cut all the wires. i have a head unit with only 5 pins and i cant seem to figure out what goes where. i colored match all the wires that are on the harness but for example there is only 1 red wire on the harness then 3 red wires coming from all the electrical. then there is a yellow coming from the harness then there is no yellow to connect it to. is there a diagram someone can get me?

What head unit do you have that has only 5 pins? Sounds like your missing something. The wiring info is in the FAQ thread that's stick at the top of the forum.

Just from looking at the wiring that is there, my guess is a shorted wire. If you have the means solder and heat shrink everything, or at least use crimps and see if that fixes anything.

I'd ohm from the speakers back to the wires at the HU to make sure you don't have lines grounded out and to make sure they are hooked up correctly. If everything checks out try borrowing a HU unless you know the one you are using is good. That should help you troubleshoot the problem. GL
